Ready to meet your best friend?

I'm Karina, the face behind KEE Bernedoodles.
In addition to my love of dogs, I have been an equine enthusiast for almost 20 years. One of the people I've met through the equine industry is a close friend and her program has produced Kelly, Keena, Winnie and Birdie. The first time I met her foundation Bernese Mountain Dog, Lainey, I was immediately smitten. I sat on the floor with her head in my lap for hours. When Lainey produced her first Bernedoodle litter I absolutely had to go meet them. Kelly, my foundation mama, was 6 weeks old at the time. We instantly connected. I brought her home the day she turned 8 weeks old. She was the easiest dog I've ever trained. I was a full time college student at the time and we traveled many miles together. She went to a lot of horse shows and lived in my tiny Philadelphia apartment right alongside me. Kelly has never met a stranger and was an outstanding mother, who loved her job. So full of life and happy, always. Her eyes are truly the window to her soul and what a beautiful one she has.

Growing up on a farm means more often than not, there are babies of some sort running around. I started raising Quarter Horses in 2018. I knew from the moment I met Kelly that I wanted to play a role in improving the breed, and light up the lives of others the way she has mine. With a working knowledge of genetics, conformation and reproduction; I began studying color traits, puppy curriculums, and marketing strategies. While in high school, I studied Early Childhood Education and spent 4 years teaching. I fall back on the skills I acquired in my preschool classroom pretty frequently when training puppies and planning our curriculum activities.
I have always admired the intelligence, loyalty and athleticism of poodles. Combined with the calm, old soul and human focus of the Bernese, I knew I couldn't go wrong! With the birth of the first litter in 2022, KEE Bernedoodles was founded.
I hope to bring everyone who brings one of our puppies home the joy my dogs have brought me. They are fuel for my soul and my absolute best friends. I work hard to make the best match for each of our puppies and their families. Respecting each of them as an individual means studying their temperaments and personality and putting lots of thought into what placement will best suit each of their needs, and vice versa. I spend many hours caring for each litter and working through a curriculum meant to set them up for a lifetime of success. Before a litter is even conceived, I spend months contemplating each pairing. The conformation, health, temperament, and even the coat and color traits of the sire and dam.
I've worked hard to build this little program and want to thank each of you for being a part of this incredible journey!

The focus of my program is raising standard sized tricolor, chocolate and sable Bernedoodles, sporting calm demeanors, trainable minds, correct conformation, and temperaments well suited to families of all shapes and sizes!
My goal is to produce dogs that bring their families all of the love and joy that my own Bernedoodles have added to my life.
